Susan M. Rykowski

Expected Graduation: May 2026

I am a third-year accounting Ph.D. student at the University of Alabama. My research primarily focuses on auditor judgment and decision making, with an emphasis on social psychology. 

Prior to joining the accounting Ph.D. program, I worked for Ernst & Young in their Professional Practice and US East Assurance groups. I am a licensed CPA in New York and Alabama. I received my Bachelor's of Business Administration with majors in Accounting, Business Analytics, and International Business from Villanova University.
